I could not find a local source for mohair and have discovered that it is very expensive! You could make this bear using mohair but the "fake" fur works just fine!
This "prim" Christmas bear is best used for decoration purposes! However, if you wanted to make him for a child, you could but I would recommend using "cotter pin" joints! Cotter pin joints hold up better for all of the love that a small child has for a bear! Don't miss out on the "bear" fun!
