Getting started!
Here is how we do it...
Most of ORP's pattern are "trace an sew" patterns. This is just what is says, "trace and sew". Crafting doesn't get any easier than this.
Simply trace the pattern piece to your fabric, sew on the trace line and trim.
Each ORP pattern comes with a face template for you to trace to your doll. I like to use a piece of graphite paper for tracing. This can be purchased at most office supply stores or on Amazon.
I "love, love" using jute for my dolly hair. I kind of prefer the "messy" look.
I purchase this jute on a roll in the ribbon section at Hobby Lobby. Simply unravel the jute and stitch it to your dolly's head.
This is my favorite fleece to use for Santa hats and suit trim and snowmen. It's called "Sherpa Fleece". I purchased it from Hobby Lobby.
